Martin Olson is an enterprise transformation coach located in the mid-western United States. Martin holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Kansas City (1991) and a MBA from the University of Kansas (2001). Martin also obtained his SPCT certification from Scaled Agile Inc. in 2016 and has helped clients throughout the US and Europe understand the Scaled Agile Framework.
By leveraging the Lean, Agile and Systems coaching bodies of knowledge, Martin is able to help his client-partners understand, design and implement change initiatives that consistently lead to the creation of high performing organizational teams, programs and cultures.
I am an experienced Agile Coach with my first exposure to Agile starting in 2007. I have spent quite a bit of time as a team member, Scrum Master, RTE, and Agile Coach at different levels during this time. I am also a former software developer with more than 20 years of experience in the Microsoft suite of development tools, having worked in both Agile and Waterfall processes. Since becoming an Enterprise Agile Coach, I spent a lot of time both in the field and the classroom. I have helped companies understand and implement Agile methodologies no matter what their current operating model. I have also brought that real-world experience to the classroom and trained over a thousand students in SAFe. My personal passion is bringing organizational psychology into the process to help companies deliver better results while creating a work experience that helps companies be the best versions of themselves.
